Nancy with "Support"

After five fabulous years, the Art.Rage.Us exhibit, Art and Writing by Women with Breast Cancer, has been dismantled. As I drove my pieces back home it felt to me as if they had acquired a pulse of their own. More than 27,000 people have viewed the exhibit in galleries spanning from San Francisco to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Michigan all the way to Hong Kong. Maybe it was all of the people seeing "Support" as part of that collective experience that made it something much larger and less personal. Something much more beautiful and universal. I think so.
